Are so big they’re embarrassing people. Since it now it takes a 3point turn to pull into a parking spot, maybe they can dial it back a little.

It makes the driver look like they don’t know what they’re doing.

Yeah no that’s been a feature since gmt400. My 96 k1500 has no turning radius, a 3 point turn is just getting started. And I have stock tires and rims, heck Ram 2500s have a better turning circle.

My ’95 C2500 is a hair over 18' long (reg cab, long bed). It probably (?) takes a 3-point turn to pull into parking spaces, but I’m not quite sure because I always reverse in or pull through. (Unless of course, it’s angled parking.)

What I don’t like about today’s trucks is the height. In my truck, I can still reach just about everything in my engine bay (except back by the distributor) by leaning over. No ladder required. And the top of the bed is only about 4' off the ground, so I can lean over that, too.

I mean, honestly, I’ve driven trucks my entire life (except for the past 1.5 years), and I usually did three point turns getting into spaces just because I didn’t want to scrape the other vehicles.

I had to do that yesterday at the grocery store in my F150. I think it has more to do with shrinking parking lots

I always back in in my truck too unless it’s the angled spots. It’s almost required

I think it was one of Doug DeMuro’s videos about his Hummer H1 where he says a Ford Raptor has a wider stance than his Hummer, and nearly an identical wheelbase. All of today’s trucks are way too huge.

Relatively speaking, they are!
